Inside Gulf Grandeur, Our Newest Available Gulf-View Home

Flanked with mature palms, “Gulf Grandeur” at 137 Seaside Drive features a steeply pitched gabled roof over third- and second-floor balconies, lined with charming porch railings. It showcases dramatic architecture and coastal-inspired interiors, along with stunning outdoor living areas. The home has rear views of Kiera’s Pool and Lake Gavin and front balcony views across dune grasses to the Gulf. It’s three stories of luxury living on the Texas Coast.

The cozy, first-floor patio is designed around an outdoor stone fireplace, backed by a lush, fully landscaped backyard that overlooks Kiera’s Pool. A framework of columns and beams form a pavilion-like structure around the fireplace seating group, and as you enter, cobblestone-style flooring hints at an Old World influence.

The spacious kitchen is built around an expansive island that seats six, while a row of windows above all-white cabinetry floods the room with light. The work space overlooks the dining area on one side and the den on the other, forming a wonderful, workable, communal space.

In the kitchen and den, a gently pitched ceiling features woodwork that adds character. Signature lighting provides panache: In the kitchen, a trio of metallic fixtures hangs over the island, while the den and dining areas feature matching pairs of handsome wall sconces. The den opens onto a balcony overlooking the water.

Bedrooms at the beach require special attention for all of the family and guests who come to enjoy the shore. One first-floor guest room features two French doors that open onto a patio and Gulf views, dusty blue bedding, a driftwood-finished wood bedframe and a rug and artwork with coral motifs. A second bedroom has an accent wall of shiplap and nautical accents.

The gorgeous master suite features its own private balcony and sumptuous his-and-her bathrooms. One features a clawfoot tub and walk-in shower dressed up with marble-style tile. There’s an outdoor shower off the “his” bathroom and a laundry room off the “her” bathroom for added convenience. Another laundry room on the first floor helps divide the loads.

At Gulf Grandeur, there is plenty of room for the kids! One cozy bunk room, with attached bath, centers around all-white bunks with splashes of beachy coral on accent pillows. A second bunkroom offers a double bed topped by a built-in single bunk and nautical-theme bedding.

Other extras, like a built-in doggie door, make the home livable for a weekend or for the whole summer. From the first-floor den, with a wet-bar area with convenient mini-fridge, to the spacious outdoor shower that serves as a doggie wash or after-beach rinsing spot, Gulf Grandeur has all the elements to make it truly grand.
